Tribute to Ludovico Einaudi door Mystery Ensemble

Op 26 oktober om 20.00 uur zal een bijzonder concert plaatsvinden in de sfeervolle Ryelandtzaal in hartje Brugge.

Op het programma muziek van de wereldberoemde Italiaanse neoklassieke componist Ludovico Einaudi, uitgevoerd in een intieme en ontspannen sfeer door het fantastische Mystery Ensemble.

Ludovico Einaudi presenteerde in het najaar van 2019 het laatste deel van zijn zevendelig muzikale project «Seven Days Walking». Het is de muzikale neerslag van zijn ervaringen in weer en wind tijdens zeven dagen wandelen doorheen de met sneeuw bedekte bergen van Zwitserland. Verrukkelijk mooie schetsen van de natuur, stemmingen en het weer zijn het verbluffende resultaat.

Ludovico Einaudi is zonder twijfel een van de meest prominente vertegenwoordigers van het neoclassicisme. Maar succes en erkenning waren niet gemakkelijk voor hem. Vanaf zijn kindertijd domineerde het gewicht van de prestaties van zijn familieleden de Italiaan. Ludovico’s moeder speelde piano. Grootvader van moederskant was componist en dirigent van Italiaanse opera’s. Vader is een beroemde boekenuitgever. Grootvader van vaderskant — Luigi Einaudi — de eerste president van het naoorlogse Italië.

A unique concert on October 26th will take place at 8.00 pm in the incredibly atmospheric Ryelandtzaal in the heart of Bruges.

The programme of the evening includes the music of the world-famous Italian neoclassical composer Ludovico Einaudi performed by the extraordinary Mystery Ensemble in an intimate & relaxing atmosphere.

Ludovico Einaudi presented the final part of the seven-volume musical project «Seven Days Walking» in the fall of 2019. Delightfully beautiful sketches of nature, moods and weather were made by him while walking through the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland.

Ludovico Einaudi is without a doubt one of the most prominent representatives of neoclassicism. But success and recognition were not easy for him. From childhood, the weight of the achievements of his family members dominated the Italian. Ludovico’s mother played the piano. Maternal grandfather was a composer and conductor of Italian operas. Father is a famous book publisher. Paternal grandfather — Luigi Einaudi — the first president of post-war Italy.
