Immerse yourself in one of Florence’s most extraordinary immersive spaces — the legendary Cattedrale dell’Immagine, an ancient Romanesque church reborn as Italy’s first permanent centre dedicated to immersive digital art.

Amid monumental projections, moving light and breathtaking visual worlds that merge with the cathedral’s historic architecture, Interstellar comes to life in a completely new dimension.

The soundtrack of Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed film Interstellar, brought to life by the enchanting Mystery Ensemble with soloist Lorenzo Fuoco. Hans Zimmer — Nolan’s constant collaborator and one of the greatest film composers of our time (Oscar winner, two-time Golden Globe and three-time Grammy winner) — his original compositions are reimagined for a unique ensemble combining electronic and acoustic instruments.

The concert is presented by the creative agency RED EVENTS & Distribution Ltd., renowned for exceptional cultural experiences in historic manor houses, on rooftops, in greenhouses and other atmospheric venues across Europe, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and beyond. Their repertoire also includes candlelight concerts and immersive multi-sensory shows combining music, sound and visual art.

Mystery Ensemble

Founded in the UK in 2021, Mystery Ensemble is an international collective of musicians presenting immersive concert programmes across Europe. Blending classical, contemporary and cinematic repertoire, the ensemble performs in unique venues through specially created arrangements for chamber formations and small orchestras.

Its founder, Alexander Almin, has devoted over 15 years of his life to the music industry and the development of cultural initiatives around the world, collaborating with outstanding musicians in different countries.

The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from the music of Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi and Ólafur Arnalds to tributes to Queen, The Beatles and iconic film soundtracks including The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Interstellar and Star Wars. Classical masterpieces by composers such as Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky also form an important part of its artistic identity.

For its concerts in Switzerland, Mystery Ensemble collaborates with musicians based locally, bringing together an international artistic vision with the country’s vibrant classical music scene.

Lorenzo Fuoco – violin

Lorenzo Fuoco was born in Florence in 1972. He graduated with distinction in violin from the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence in 1994, and later completed advanced studies in Lugano, Switzerland, where he obtained a postgraduate diploma in 1996. He refined his musical training under the guidance of prominent musicians including C. Chiarappa, O. Dantone, F. Rossi, G. Franzetti and E. Porta.

Since 1998, he has been a permanent member of the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, where he serves as concertmaster of the first violins. His extensive work within the Florentine theatre, particularly under the musical direction of Zubin Mehta, has given him profound experience in the operatic and symphonic repertoire. Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the most distinguished conductors of our time, including Georges Prêtre, Seiji Ozawa, Riccardo Muti, Claudio Abbado, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kirill Petrenko and Daniele Gatti.

Since 2005, he has also worked regularly as guest concertmaster with leading orchestras in Italy and abroad, such as the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra in Parma, the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino, the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, as well as Musique des Lumières (Neuchâtel) and the Sinfonie Orchester Biel Solothurn.

Between 2004 and 2012, he was concertmaster of the OperaFestival Orchestra of Tuscany, also performing as a soloist and serving as artistic coordinator. He performs internationally as a solo violinist across Europe and Asia.

He is currently principal concertmaster of I Cameristi, the chamber orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

He plays a Matteo Goffriller violin (Venice, 1730).
