Presented in one of Zurich’s most historic and atmospheric venues, this vibrant musical journey unfolds through the mesmerising melodies of the world-famous Canadian composer Howard Shore, who received three Academy Awards, two Golden Globes and three Grammy Awards for his music for the trilogy. His iconic soundtrack has captivated millions worldwide, and now, we bring it to life in a spellbinding performance that includes vocal music inspired by Elvish songs, ancient folklore, and the poetic spirit of Middle-earth.
Performed by Horizons Ensemble, this immersive evening will guide you through a sonic journey where elves sing, hobbits dance, and the shadows of Mordor loom in the distance. Alongside the orchestra, live vocals by Sarah Pagin will embody the voices of Tolkien’s world — from ethereal Elvish laments to the haunting chants of ancient realms, bringing a deeply emotional and otherworldly dimension to the music of The Lord of the Rings.
The concert is organised by the creative agency RED EVENTS & Distribution Ltd., known for producing exceptional cultural experiences in historic mansions, on rooftops, in greenhouses, and in some of the most atmospheric venues across Europe, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and beyond.
