Bradford Cathedral
Bradford Cathedral – the spiritual heart of the city and an inspiring concert venue with over a thousand years of history. Blending Gothic architecture, natural light and exceptional acoustics, the cathedral offers a perfect setting for choral, organ and chamber music. Its scale is both majestic and intimate, turning every performance into a rich cultural and emotional experience. Located in the heart of Bradford, the cathedral remains one of the region’s most important venues – where music meets history and elevation.
Bradford Cathedral has flat, step-free access from the Stott Hill entrance and through the North Door, with accessibility ramps on the north side reaching the East End, and there is room inside for wheelchair users to move around (some ground is uneven due to the medieval building). An accessible toilet is located near the Cathedral shop just inside the North Door, and a hearing induction loop covers the nave, transepts, West End and St Aidan's Chapel. Assistance dogs are very welcome. On-site parking is very limited, so the Cathedral suggests being dropped off at the Stott Hill gate; the Chapter House and Lady Chapel are only reachable by steps. For assistance, call 01274 777720 or use the buzzer at the Stott Hill gate.
