Salle Centrale de la Madeleine, Geneve
Located in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town, Salle Centrale de la Madeleine is one of the city’s most emblematic cultural venues. Known for its refined simplicity, excellent acoustics, and adaptable stage, the hall regularly hosts concerts, performances, and artistic events. Surrounded by history and easily accessible, it offers a warm and versatile setting — beloved by both performers and audiences alike.
Entry from the pavement is via one step without a handrail; on request a removable wooden ramp is installed for step-free access. The hall is level (with a slight slope); a platform by the last row holds one wheelchair (about 15 m from the stage), and for several wheelchairs up to six spaces are available in front of the first row (about 5 m). The accessible toilet in the basement is reachable by lift. There is no hearing loop, and no disabled parking in the immediate vicinity. Guide dogs are welcome; for assistance, contact the venue in advance (Anthony Pièce, +41 79 397 25 40) or RED EVENTS.
