On 10 September, The Music of The Lord of The Rings: Tribute to Howard Shore marked our first concert at Cadogan Hall, bringing the music of Middle-earth to one of London’s most distinguished concert venues.
With 950 seats and renowned acoustics, Cadogan Hall has welcomed leading orchestras, choirs and artists from the UK and around the world. It was a fitting setting for an evening dedicated to Howard Shore’s iconic music and the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Performed by Mystery Ensemble, the concert took the audience on a musical journey through Middle-earth, from the songs of the Elves and joyful dances of the Hobbits to the darker sounds of Mordor. Live vocals by Josephine Shaw added a distinctive dimension to the performance, moving from ethereal Elvish laments to haunting chants inspired by the ancient realms of Tolkien’s world.
Our first concert at Cadogan Hall has now become part of our story, and we are already looking forward to returning to this remarkable venue with more concerts and new musical stories.
