When the Music Begins, We Are No Longer Strangers

On 30 July, the International Day of Friendship celebrates the connections capable of crossing borders, cultures and languages. Music has always possessed that same power.

We see it at every concert. Some people arrive with a friend they have known for half their life. Others leave having shared a smile, a favourite melody or a moment of complete silence with someone who was a stranger only an hour earlier.

That is music’s quiet talent: it turns a room filled with separate stories into one attentive audience. It gives us a common language before we have even introduced ourselves.

Today, we celebrate the friends who say yes to last-minute plans, save the seat beside them and remain part of our lives long after the final note. This 30 July, choose the person you want beside you when the lights begin to dim. We will take care of the music.
