We presented The Music of The Lord of The Rings: Tribute to Howard Shore at Cattedrale dell’Immagine in Florence for the first time, bringing one of our most loved programmes into a space where music does not simply sound — it surrounds.
The former Romanesque church, now transformed into Italy’s first permanent centre for immersive digital art, gave the concert an entirely new visual language. Beneath monumental projections, moving light and images mapped onto historic architecture, Tolkien’s world appeared not as a distant memory from the screen, but as something unfolding around the audience in real time.
This Florence premiere became more than a concert in a beautiful venue. It was a meeting between live music, digital art and architectural memory: a place where sound climbed the walls, light moved with the story, and the road to Middle-earth seemed to begin inside the cathedral itself.
