On 12 June, we held our first concert in Wexford, bringing The Music of The Lord of The Rings. Tribute to Howard Shore to the stunning St. Iberius Church.
The evening felt like a quiet threshold: one step from the city into the old, green, dangerous and beautiful world of Tolkien. Inside the church, Mystery Ensemble performed Howard Shore’s music in their own arrangements, letting the familiar themes unfold with a sense of closeness and cinematic weight.
St. Iberius Church gave the concert a distinctive atmosphere. The music did not simply fill the space; it seemed to settle into its architecture, turning the evening into something between a performance and a story remembered aloud.
First concert in Wexford, The Music of The Lord of The Rings became a fitting beginning — mysterious, generous and full of that rare feeling that a journey may still be waiting just beyond the final note.
