About event

Ready to immerse yourself in the thrilling world of one of the most successful film composers in history — John Williams

Harry Potter, Home Alone, Star Wars, Schindler’s List, Indiana Jones, Superman, Jurassic Park — this evening will bring you the maestro’s most iconic soundtracks, performed in dazzling style by the Mystery Ensemble.

An electrifying energy, stunning arrangements, and a magnificent programme — all set within the magnificent atmosphere of St Pieter’s Church. The magic of the music will transport you straight into your favourite film stories, making you feel like the hero yourself.

Over a career spanning more than 70 years, John Williams has received 25 Grammys, 5 Oscars, 4 Golden Globes, and countless other awards. With 53 Academy Award nominations, he ranks second only to Walt Disney.

Williams has worked closely with legendary directors such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Alfred Hitchcock, Oliver Stone, and Chris Columbus. He has also composed music for the 1984, 1988 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games, as well as the 2002 Winter Olympics. In autumn 2023, he was appointed an Honorary Knight of the United Kingdom.

Without question, John Williams has done more than almost anyone to popularise orchestral music, and his works continue to enchant millions around the globe.

The mesmerising combination of the ensemble's performance and the atmospheric venue will make the evening unforgettable. Hurry to get your tickets for the most beautiful, magical, and soothing concert of September!
