Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury (1946–1991), the incomparable voice of Queen, wrote and performed some of the most beloved songs in rock history — Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, We Are the Champions, Don't Stop Me Now. A four-octave voice, operatic imagination and unmatched showmanship made him one of the greatest live performers of all time.

His music crosses effortlessly from rock to opera to ballad — which is why it sounds so natural, and so thrilling, in the hands of classical ensembles and candlelit orchestras.
