Max Richter
Max Richter is one of the most influential composers of the 21st century — pioneer of the neoclassical sound. Hear his music performed live.
Born in 1966, the German-British composer broke through with The Blue Notebooks and the eight-hour lullaby Sleep, and reached millions with his luminous "On the Nature of Daylight", heard in films from Arrival to Shutter Island. His Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi's Four Seasons reimagines Vivaldi's masterpiece for a new century — familiar yet transformed, pulsing and cinematic. Richter's music is built for live performance: spare piano lines, shimmering strings and slow-building emotion that fills a darkened room.
