Born in 1989, Kris Bowers is a jazz-trained pianist turned acclaimed composer, writing the lush, string-led score of Bridgerton as well as Green Book, King Richard and The Color Purple (2023). An Academy Award winner for his documentary work, Bowers blends classical elegance with contemporary warmth and rhythm. Performed live, his Bridgerton music brings Regency romance vividly to the concert stage.
