Ramin Djawadi — composer

Ramin Djawadi

Ramin Djawadi wrote the unmistakable music of Game of Thrones and Westworld. Hear his epic themes performed live.

Born in Germany in 1974 to a German mother and Iranian father, Ramin Djawadi studied at Berklee and trained under Hans Zimmer. He created the cello-driven main title of Game of Thrones and its slow-burning "Light of the Seven", along with the haunting piano world of Westworld and scores for Iron Man and Pacific Rim. His music pairs memorable melody with modern, propulsive energy. Performed live, the Game of Thrones themes regain their full epic scale.
