Kseniia Nikolaieva
Kseniia Nikolaieva (mezzo-soprano) is an internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano and former member of the prestigious Jette Parker Artists Programme (2020–2022) at the Royal Opera House, London.
During her time at the Royal Opera House, her roles included Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Giovanna (Rigoletto), Annina (La Traviata), Bessie (Mahagonny Songspiel), as well as performances of Eboli and Mistress Quickly in the JPYAP Summer Performance under Sir Mark Elder.
In the 2025–2026 season she makes her debut at the Wexford Festival Opera as Azucena in a new production of Le Trouvère, appears as Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica) at the Edinburgh International Festival, and performs at the BBC Proms with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.
Recent engagements include:
• Dritte Dame (Die Zauberflöte) and Mary (Der fliegende Holländer) at the Royal Opera House
• Mother (Mavra) at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino
• La Cieca (La Gioconda) at Teatro di San Carlo
• Amneris (Aida) at Oper im Steinbruch St. Margarethen
She has collaborated with leading international institutions including Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House, Southbank Centre, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Teatro di San Carlo.
Kseniia also maintains a long-term creative collaboration with the International Opera Awards.
