Holly Clelland (Soprano)

Holly, known for her bright hair and outstanding stage presence has had a wonderful early music career and is currently undertaking her Masters degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She was a well-established member of both the National Youth Choir of Scotland and Scottish Opera Young Company where she had plentiful opportunities from singing in Carnegie Hall to premiering new operatic works. Additionally, Holly is a long-standing member of Dunblane’s ‘Rubber Chicken Theatre’ fulfilling both cast and production roles. As a long term LotR fan, Holly is thrilled to be bringing Shore’s music to audiences. 

Her engagements include Diana (Rubble), Der Boy (Der Zar lässt sich photographieren), Hades (The Frogs), and Amore (Orfeo ed Euridice) with SOYC.

Clopin Trouillefou (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and The Witch (Into the Woods) with RCT, and Dido (Dido and Aeneas) with RCS.

Concert appearances include soloist roles in Paul Mealor’s Souls of the Righteous, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Requiem, and Consuelo in West Side Story (concert version), performed with Sir John Eliot Gardiner. Future engagements include Maman in RSNO’s L’enfant des sortilèges.
