Talar is een Armeense sopraan, geboren in Syrië en woonachtig in België. Haar artistieke persoonlijkheid omarmt zowel de Mozart-rollen als die van Verdi en Puccini. Talar's opera-optredens omvatten Fiordiliggi in Così fan tutte in Maastricht, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi in de Opera van Damascus, Cendrillon in de Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, Théâtre du Luxembourg en Opéra de Massy in Parijs, Elisetta in Il matrimonio segreto in het Brussels Nationaal Theater, Micaëla in Carmen voor de Jeugdopera Schloss Weikersheim, Donna Anna, Contessa en Fiordiliggi in een hommage aan Mozart/Da Ponte in de Munt, Calypso in Ulysse met het Koninklijk Orkest van de Munt onder leiding van Kazushi Ono in BOZAR Brussel, “Elle” in Poulenc’s La voix humaine met Opera Zuid in Maastricht, Nederland, een productie die live werd uitgezonden op classic.nl. Talar maakte haar debuut in het Royal Opera House van Londen in de rol van “Wadha” in de hedendaagse opera Cities of Salt van Zaid Jabri.
Talar is ook actief in recitals en oratoriumrepertoire, waaronder uitvoeringen van Händels Messiah met het Vlaams Radio Orkest, Schuberts Mis op het Festival van Menton onder leiding van J.B. Pommier, Mozarts Requiem met het London Chamber Orchestra onder leiding van Christopher Warren-Green, Beethovens Mis in BOZAR en concerten en recitals in zalen zoals Salle Cortot in Parijs, Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, New York, Tokyo Opera City Hall, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genua en andere.
Talar werd uitgenodigd om te zingen voor de Belgische Koninklijke Familie in aanwezigheid van Koning Albert II en Koningin Paola tijdens het Kerstconcert in het Koninklijk Paleis van Brussel.
Talar had de eer om samen te werken met wereldberoemde artiesten zoals pianiste Maria João Pires en bariton José Van Dam. Met Pires gaf zij recitals in het Gulbenkian Groot Auditorium in Lissabon, het festival Trame Sonore in Mantova (Italië) en het festival Days of Wisdom in Catalonië (Spanje). Met José Van Dam trad zij meermaals op tijdens galaconcerten in het Paleis voor Schone Kunsten in Brussel, gevolgd door een galaconcert ter ere van hem in Flagey Studio 4 in Brussel.
Ze is laureaat van verschillende internationale wedstrijden: onderscheiden als “Meest vooraanstaande artiest” op de Bellini-wedstrijd in Ragusa (Italië) en laureaat-finaliste van de prestigieuze Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd in België.

Talar is an Armenian soprano born in Syria, resident in Belgium. Her artistic personality embraces the Mozartian roles with those of Verdi and Puccini. Talar’s operatic engagements include Fiordiliggi in “Cosi fan tutte” in Maastricht, Lauretta in “Gianni Schicchi” in Damascus opera house, “Cendrillon” at The Royal Opera house“La Monnaie”, Theatre du Luxembourg” and “Opera de Massy” Paris, Elisetta “Il matrimonio segretto” at the Brussels National Theater, Micaëla “Carmen” for Young Opera Schloss Weikersheim, Donna Anna, Contessa and Fiordiliggi in tribute to Mozart/Da Ponte in “La Monnaie”, Calypso in “Ulysse” with Royal Orchestra of “La Monnaie” conducted by Kazushi Ono in Brussels BOZAR, “Elle” in Poulenc’s “La voix humaine” with Operazuid in Maastricht / Holland, a production broadcasted live on classic.nl. Talar made her debut at The Royal Opera House – London in the role of “Wadha” in a contemporary opera “Cities of Salt” by Zaid Jabri.
Talar is also active in recital and oratorio repertoire performing works as Handel’s Messiah with Vlaams Radio Orchestra, Schubert’s Mass at Menton Festival conducted by J.B.Pommier, Mozart’s Requiem with the London Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Christopher-Warren Green, Beethoven’s Mass for BOZAR and concerts and recitals in venues as Salle Cortot in Paris, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, New York, Tokyo Opera City Hall, Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa and others.
Talar was invited to sing for the Belgian Royal Family in the presence of King Albert II and Queen Paola during the Christmas Concert at the Royal Palace of Brussels.
Talar had the honour to perform with world acclaimed artists such as the pianist Maria João Pires or barytone José Van Dam. With Pires, a recital at the Gulbenkian Grand Auditorium in Lisbon, festival “Trame Sonore” in Mantova, Italy and “Days of Wisdom” festival in Catalonia, Spain. With José Van Dam, she performed on several occasions as Gala Concert’s at the Palais des Beaux-Arts of Brussels followed by a Gala concert to his honour at the Flagey Studio 4 in Brussels.
A laureate of several international competitions, the “Most distinguished artist” at the Bellini Competition in Ragusa (Italy) and a Laureate-finalist at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium.
