Stationers' Hall
Gleaming oak flooring and carved oak panelling originating from the 1600s, together with huge stained glass windows give this room an impressive ambience. The stained glass windows, portray William Shakespeare, William Caxton, St Cecelia (a reference to the patron saint of music, whose festivals were celebrated in the Hall), William Tynedale and Archbishop Cranmer. The great north Caxton window depicts William Caxton showing his printing press to King Edward IV. The Main Hall is the largest of the function rooms within Stationers’ Hall.

Stationers' Hall is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Step-free entry is via the courtyard and garden gate, with a lift at the garden entrance (and a second lift to the cloakroom) giving level access to the Garden, Court Room, Main Hall, toilets and third-floor meeting room. There are accessible toilets at the garden entrance and on the second floor, a hearing loop in both the Court Room and Main Hall, a drop-off point with a dropped kerb at the main entrance, and a few Blue Badge spaces that can be pre-booked with the Hall Manager on 020 7246 0998.
