The Cathedral’s main Nave can accommodate up to 700 guests and offers an exceptional setting for both grand symphonic performances and intimate candlelit evenings. Step-free access to Southwark Cathedral is available every day from the Millennium Courtyard off Montague Close, with the Nave reached by a platform lift and ramps into the South Transept; a passenger lift and a platform lift serve the building and a wheelchair is available on site if needed. Two accessible toilets (RADAR-key, with baby-change) are in the precinct, and an induction loop operates in the Nave and the Garry Weston Library. Assistance dogs are welcome at all times and water can be provided; accessible parking is around five minutes away at Clink Street or Stoney Street.
